Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, utilizing standardized assessment tools and structured interviews.

• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs, issues, and goals, ensuring a collaborative approach with clients.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to address a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication and resolving conflicts, focusing on building stronger, healthier relationships.

• Regularly monitor and adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of client progress, allowing for flexible and responsive care.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all client interactions, including progress notes and treatment modifications, in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers and primary care providers, to ensure holistic care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, equipped to support clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies.

• Maintain knowledge of current research, best practices, and industry trends in marriage and family therapy through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for clients' rights and well-being, empowering them in therapeutic decisions and ensuring their sustained engagement in the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including at-risk youth, adults facing life transitions, and couples seeking relationship enhancement. Our clients come from varied backgrounds, and your ability to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity is essential. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of New Jersey is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
