Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside, your role includes a variety of essential tasks aimed at fostering the well-being of your clients. Key responsibilities include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead dynamic and supportive group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences, build connections, and learn coping strategies from one another.

• Individual Counseling: Conduct personalized therapy sessions that delve into clients’ thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping them devise effective coping mechanisms and practical action plans.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans, setting specific, measurable goals tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

• Progress Evaluation: Regularly assess each client’s progress using various methodologies, ensuring that treatment remains aligned with their evolving needs.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals in a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client care and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom may be grappling with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and transitional life stressors. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of Massachusetts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
