Accounting Specialist | Hands-On Accounting Role with a Stable Schedule

SALARY: $30.00 – $32.00/hr.
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Long-Term

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manage billing, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Complete bank, credit card, and AP/AR reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance.
• Maintain financial records and reporting using QuickBooks Online.
• Support month-end close and assist with tax preparation by gathering and reviewing financial documentation.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online , including AP, AR, billing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word , along with experience preparing journal entries and working with the general ledger.
• Understanding of financial statements, including profit & loss and balance sheets, and month-end accounting processes.
• Experience working with CPAs and providing documentation for tax preparation.
• Familiarity with contracts, CSLB compliance, and corporate documentation is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Primarily office-based work requiring extended periods of sitting, computer use, and reviewing financial documents.
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office materials.
