As a licensed mental health professional at Brave Recovery Counseling Services, you will benefit from a supportive and inclusive remote work environment, ensuring a healthy work-life balance. With a flexible schedule primarily from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, this role allows for adjustments to accommodate the needs of our patients. You will also have the opportunity to utilize advanced telehealth technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance your service delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather comprehensive information about clients' personal histories, facilitating the development of effective and individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique background, ensuring accessibility and relevance in the therapy process.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, encouraging open communication and fostering community support among participants.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and monitor client progress, working to keep all involved parties informed and engaged.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during mental health emergencies, utilizing strong assessment skills to de-escalate and stabilize clients in distress.

• Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, available treatment modalities, and community resources for ongoing support.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence to ethical and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with local and federal laws.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training on cultural competency to continuously enhance professional development and service delivery.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, adapting techniques and methodologies as necessary to reflect improved approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW within the state of California.

• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods, emphasizing cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy sessions, employing inclusive techniques tailored to a diverse client base.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention, remaining calm and effective in stressful situations while providing immediate support.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications to document client interactions and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The expected salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
