This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth methods to deliver effective counseling services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health, focusing on emotional, psychological, and behavioral aspects related to weight management and eating disorders.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices, to facilitate effective change.

• Develop personalized treatment plans crafted to align with each client's unique goals, preferences, and emotional triggers.

• Provide individual counseling sessions that delve into the psychological factors impacting eating behaviors, fostering a greater understanding of clients’ interactions with food.

• Evaluate and document clients' progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in real-time based on their evolving needs.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in New York State.

• Basic physical capabilities including the ability to occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
