Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, leveraging innovative telehealth technologies to deliver care to our clients. You'll engage with patients through video calls and digital platforms, enabling flexibility and convenience in scheduling. The workweek is set from Monday to Friday, providing a balanced lifestyle without the demand for on-call duties. You'll utilize the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system to maintain patient documentation and ensure seamless communication with our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments focusing on emotional, behavioral, and psychological aspects related to weight management, obesity, and binge eating.

• Utilize standardized tests to inform therapy selection and refine treatment pathways for individual patients.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the diverse needs of our patients, fostering a supportive environment for peer engagement.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create integrated treatment plans that address both mental and physical health issues.

• Educate patients on the psychological factors influencing weight management and assist them in navigating their challenges.

• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed in response to their evolving needs.

• Maintain detailed electronic records using the EPIC system to comply with healthcare regulations while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Current, valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits\n
