Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans, taking into account the specific challenges each patient faces due to trauma.

• Listen actively to patients’ concerns during sessions, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to identify mental or emotional disorders effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on coping strategies for stress and trauma, equipping them with practical tools to manage their emotional responses.

• Monitor patient progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of their mental health and emotional stability.

• Participate in regular training and continuing education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed of best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with trauma patients who may be dealing with various incidents that have impacted their mental health. This may include individuals recovering from accidents, abuse, or other significant life events. Your expertise will provide these patients with the support they need to address their emotional pain and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
