What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership

• Partner with the President & CEO and executive team to develop and execute the organization's financial strategy.

• Influence key business decisions through insightful financial analysis and forecasting.

• Lead long-range financial planning that supports organizational growth and sustainability.

• Present financial trends, opportunities, and recommendations to executive leadership and governing boards.

 

Financial Excellence

• Direct all budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management activities.

• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor organizational performance through key financial metrics and actionable reporting.

• Manage treasury functions, investment strategies, and banking relationships.

 

Risk, Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.

• Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks.

• Lead external audit processes and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Identify and proactively mitigate financial and operational risk.

 

Revenue Optimization & Operational Partnership

• Provide executive oversight of revenue cycle operations.

• Analyze reimbursement trends and identify opportunities to maximize financial performance.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to drive accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

• Support organization-wide initiatives that enhance financial and operational outcomes.

 

Inspire & Develop Talent

• Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing finance team.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and innovation.

• Build strong cross-functional partnerships throughout the organization.

• Champion professional growth and leadership development within the finance function.

 

What You'll Bring

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.

• MBA, CPA, or other advanced financial credential strongly preferred.

 

Experience

• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.

• Proven success in senior executive financial management roles.

• Strong strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial operations expertise.

• Healthcare industry experience highly preferred.

 

Leadership Competencies

• Exceptional business and financial acumen.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into results.

• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $300,000 to USD $400,000. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions. The total compensation range reflects the total package, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, add-on incentives, special clinical compensation, retirement plans, and all other benefits.
