The position primarily operates in a telehealth setting, allowing flexibility and accessibility for both staff and clients. You will utilize secure video conferencing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate sessions, document progress, and maintain records in compliance with confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients by proactively engaging them in conversations regarding their mental health status, personal history, and current challenges.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques while ensuring cultural sensitivity and responsiveness.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in the EHR system, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Foster therapeutic alliances by providing clients with practical tools and coping strategies to navigate their mental health challenges.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss caseloads, share best practices, and collaborate on care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. You will engage with clients from various cultural backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of cultural competence and individualized care in addressing sensitive topics and varying needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is a must.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience is essential, demonstrating a breadth of knowledge in mental health disorders.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure under pressure, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and familiarity with using technology to enhance client engagement and therapy outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
