Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and support.

• Stay engaged in professional development by attending workshops, training, and continuous education to remain current on best practices and mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Brookdale Counseling Center, you will work with diverse client populations, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. Your expertise in various therapeutic modalities will enable you to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.

• A valid and active license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
\n
• At least two years of clinical experience in counseling, preferably in a mental health or outpatient setting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trusting relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.

• Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and availability of caseload.
