Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, formulating evidence-based treatment plans to facilitate recovery.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, functional movement training, and exercise prescription to improve patient mobility and decrease pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure adherence to rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, exercises, and home care strategies for continued recovery and maintenance of physical health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights and progress updates to enhance the overall treatment experience for patients.
• Maintain professional development through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, and other educational opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, surgeries, and chronic pain disorders. You will play a significant role in guiding them through their recovery process, ensuring they regain strength and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required to qualify for this position.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and instructions to patients and their families.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant software systems for documentation and patient management.
• A flexible approach to therapy that accommodates the unique needs of each patient.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience as a practicing physical therapist is preferred, although recent graduates are encouraged to apply, especially if you have completed clinical rotations in rehabilitation settings.
• Specific experience with treatment techniques relevant to our patient demographics is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
