Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Clinical Practice, UW Pediatrics, Neonatology Division Position Overview Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Clinical Practice, UW Pediatrics, Neonatology Division Position Description The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology at the University of Washington invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor of Clinical Practice, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2026. The position is a twelve‑month full‑time appointment for a term of 3 years. Applicants should demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will participate in clinical care, education, and scholarship at an outstanding academic center. Provide direct clinical care in a Level IV NICU and regional Level III NICUs. Engage in teaching and mentorship of residents, fellows, and students. Conduct research in neonatal neuroprotection, simulation education, or global neonatal‑perinatal health. Contribute to the mission of improving pregnancy outcomes through scholarship and evidence‑based clinical care. The Division of Neonatology offers an outstanding fellowship program, robust clinical/translational and basic research opportunities, and a focus on ethics through the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics. Compensation and Benefits Base salary ranges are: Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice: $17,517 – $26,276 per month ($210,212 – $315,318 annually). Associate Professor of Clinical Practice: $19,858 – $29,788 per month ($238,306 – $357,458 annually). Full Professor of Clinical Practice: $22,874 – $34,312 per month ($274,497 – $411,745 annually). Salary is inclusive of the Children’s University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan. Compensation may also include incentive through the CUMG practice plan. Qualifications MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent). Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Neonatology or Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine. Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Washington. U.S. medical schools graduates: successful completion of all 3 steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent for H‑1B sponsorship. Completed U.S. pediatric neonatology residency and fellowship preferred. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is a positive factor.
