Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments using standardized screening tools to gather comprehensive information about a client’s mental health status.

• Analyze and compile relevant patient data, including mental status exams, functional impairments, behavioral health, substance use, and trauma history, to facilitate accurate diagnoses.

• Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans that focus on their specific mental health symptoms and personal goals.

• Integrate culturally competent and trauma-informed practices into sessions, adjusting therapeutic approaches to address the diverse backgrounds and experiences of client populations.

• Make essential referrals to community resources and coordinate care to help clients prioritize and access the services they need.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and clinical recommendations in accordance with ethical and organizational standards.

• Participate in outreach and marketing initiatives to increase our visibility in the community, helping to attract new referrals and enhance access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role predominantly involves working with a wide range of clients, including adults, children, and families, many of whom may be facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The therapist is expected to demonstrate a high level of empathy and understanding while employing evidence-based treatment modalities that foster recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.

• Active and valid mental health licensure in California (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT).

• A minimum of two years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on crisis counseling.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, alongside robust organizational and analytical capabilities.

• An ability to adhere to established policies and procedures and make informed decisions in a timely manner.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
