Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and formulate comprehensive, personalized treatment plans for clients based on their unique needs and goals.

• Provide high-quality counseling and therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client.

• Facilitate crisis intervention for students exhibiting acute mental health issues, working closely with educational professionals to ensure safety and appropriate support.

• Develop educational workshops and resources aimed at promoting mental health awareness, stigma reduction, and positive coping strategies within the school community.

• Advocate for clients, connecting them to crucial external resources including housing assistance, financial aid, and additional support services as needed.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws related to clinical documentation.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including mentorship programs, to enhance clinical skills and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse student population that may encounter various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your empathetic approach will be essential in providing culturally competent care that respects and addresses the unique backgrounds and experiences of each student and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current Vermont LCSW license, enabling independent practice within the state.

Compensation and Benefits\n

InStride Health Associates offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
