Facility Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital. Location Newport, OR. Schedule - Shift 1.0 (80 hrs/pp) - Day. Department PCH Nursing Administration. Remote Status: OnSite. Salary Range: $22.63 - $33.24. Performs various clerical/administrative related duties for Executive(s) and department. Organizes and prioritizes multiple requests efficiently. Works independently with limited supervision and makes decisions within designated authority. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Nursing Administration teams at Samaritan Health Services are committed to providing leadership and operational support for our hospitals. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree in Business or Secretarial Sciences preferred. Two (2) years experience as an Administrative Assistant required. Experience in assigned area preferred. Demonstrated typing speed of 50 wpm required. Experience and/or training with computer applications required. Experience and/or training in structure narratives, memos, letters, agenda and rules of spelling/grammar/punctuation preferred.
