Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, formulate diagnoses, and create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Provide therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during acute mental health emergencies to minimize distress and stabilize clients’ situations.

• Document therapeutic activities meticulously, maintaining accurate records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach is taken towards each client’s care.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Engage in ongoing learning through workshops, training, and peer reviews to remain informed about the latest trends and best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

Preferred Experience\n
