Work Environment\n

As a fully remote position, this opportunity provides flexibility while allowing you to work in a supportive environment dedicated to mental health excellence. You will be part of a collaborative virtual team of professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, committed to delivering high-quality mental health care. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain an understanding of each patient's unique experiences and challenges.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailored to the cultural and personal contexts of clients.
\n
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health concerns, enhancing coping mechanisms, and promoting overall resilience and well-being.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure each client receives comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing strong de-escalation and problem-solving skills.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them to seek support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment adjustments, and ongoing case coordination.

• Engage in continuing education and cultural competency training sessions to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a demonstrated commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy, effectively using approaches that are responsive to cultural and personal backgrounds.
