Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or EMDR to deliver effective therapy tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Provide one-on-one, group, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, as well as in-person consultations when necessary.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment progress in compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and clinic policies.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop programs that enhance overall client well-being and address community mental health needs.

• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to continuously refine your therapeutic skills and explore new methodologies.

• Advocate for clients, facilitating access to local resources and support systems as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele consists of diverse individuals ranging from children to adults and families faced with a variety of challenges, including trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. We are committed to delivering culturally competent care that respects the unique backgrounds, traditions, and needs of each client. Bilingual communication in both Spanish and English is an asset, enabling us to serve a wider community effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in the state of New York.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide effective bilingual psychotherapy services (Spanish and English).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in mental health settings, preferably with diverse populations.
\n
• Demonstrated respect for cultural and individual differences, adapting therapeutic approaches as appropriate.
\n
• Experience or training in specialized areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health is encouraged.

• Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software tools.

• A valid Driver's License and car insurance is required for occasional in-person sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Certifications in evidence-based methodologies such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.

• Experience working with insurance panels as an in-network provider.
\n
• A proven track record of successful client outcomes and positive professional relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience, alongside performance-based bonuses.
