In this full-time remote position, you will play a crucial role in providing culturally sensitive mental health services to a diverse patient population. Work Environment\n

This position will be conducted entirely through telehealth, allowing for flexibility and accessibility in providing services. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some potential for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of your patients. You will be equipped with the necessary technology to conduct video sessions, making it possible to reach those who may otherwise face barriers to receiving care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify each patient’s unique needs and life experiences.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring relevance to each patient’s cultural context.

• Facilitate engaging individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on fostering resilience and addressing mental health challenges.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide a coordinated and holistic approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and available treatment options while guiding them towards community and support resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to enhance the skills and effectiveness of our team.

• Stay updated on current research, trends, and best practices in mental health therapy, particularly those associated with cultural considerations.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in understanding mental health disorders and employing evidence-based treatment approaches that are culturally competent.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy with a focus on culturally responsive methodologies.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention abilities, coupled with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven capacity for building trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Comfortable utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology for administrative tasks.
\n
• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and patient confidentiality.

• A collaborative mindset with a dedication to working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a clinical mental health role.

• Prior experience working in telehealth is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
