Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Albright Counseling Center, you will work primarily with adult clients who experience a range of mental health challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other psychological concerns. Your role will be significant in helping them navigate their mental health journeys through personalized therapeutic practices.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Demonstrated outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong connections with clients.
\n
• Exhibit compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental disposition essential in therapeutic settings.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management capabilities to balance caseloads efficiently.
\n
• No history of disciplinary actions from licensing boards.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with teletherapy and digital therapeutic tools is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapy approaches, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

• Previous experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of multicultural issues in mental health.
