Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to create personalized treatment plans that address each client's unique challenges and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide clients through their healing journeys.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can openly discuss their experiences and learn coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during moments of acute distress and acute trauma responses.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies to promote understanding and resilience.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share best practices and support a culture of ongoing learning.
\n
• Stay informed of the latest research in trauma therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary clientele consists of individuals dealing with trauma-related challenges, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work directly with clients who have often experienced significant distress and require a therapist who can provide not only therapy but also empathy and understanding. Our focus on trauma-informed care ensures that every interaction respects the patient's experiences and promotes a path toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience, preferable in trauma-focused settings.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and various evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.
\n
• Proven ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and the ability to navigate digital applications for efficient documentation and communication.

• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and contributing positively to team dynamics.

Compensation and Benefits\n
