Director of Operations 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1117 Salary: $78,000.00 Annually Develop and implement sanctuary programs and services in alignment with the sanctuary’s mission and goals. Create and maintain a welcoming, safe, and supportive atmosphere for residents. Coordinate and oversee daily sanctuary operations, including intake, assessment, case management, and residential activities. Recruit, hire, train and supervise shelter staff, including supervisors, case managers, support staff and volunteers (if applicable). Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure staff are equipped to provide quality care and assistance to residents. Ensure access to necessary resources such as food, clothing, medical care, mental health services and job trainings. Facilitate workshops, counseling, and educational programs to support residents’ personal growth and empowerment. Build and maintain positive relationships with local government agencies, community organizations, donors, and other stakeholders. Represent the Sanctuary in public forums, meetings, and events to advocate for the needs of unhoused individuals and families. Manage the Sanctuary’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support program operations. Monitor expenses, track financial performance, and prepare regular financial reports for organizational leadership and funders. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements pertaining to sanctuary operations and resident safety. Maintain accurate records, statistics, and reports on sanctuary activities, resident demographics, and program outcomes. Contribute to the development of the sanctuary’s long term strategic plan and goals. Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and expansion of sanctuary services.
