Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, strengths, and needs utilizing electronic health record systems.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the assessment findings and clients’ individual goals, adjusting as necessary to respond to progress.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.

• Monitor clients’ ongoing progress, maintaining detailed documentation and adjusting treatment strategies to best support their journey.

• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and case managers, to facilitate comprehensive care tailored to clients’ unique circumstances.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to appropriate mental health services and navigating community resources effectively.

• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical practice, remaining compliant with state licensing boards and professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on clients facing various mental health challenges, particularly mood disorders. You will engage with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties. Your role is not only to provide clinical support but also to empower clients on their path to recovery and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience in mood disorders, utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities for effective outcomes.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience with a specialty in mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, with potential bonuses based on performance.
