Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorders, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that align with their personal goals and therapeutic needs, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on therapeutic outcomes and feedback.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and combat the stigma surrounding mental illness in both personal interactions and community outreach.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals seeking support for mood disorders, families navigating relational difficulties, and couples undergoing transitions such as divorce. Your experience and specialization in divorce and relationship counseling will be especially valuable in addressing the unique challenges these populations face.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
