Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical status and functional limitations to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Administer therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training, for a diverse range of conditions.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring that treatment plans are modified based on patient feedback and clinical outcomes, adhering to the physician's recommendations.
• Provide educational resources to both patients and their caregivers, focusing on home exercises and lifestyle changes that can enhance recovery.
• Foster an environment of excellent customer service, cultivating strong patient relationships to promote satisfaction and continued improvement.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating communication regarding patient care and outcomes to improve rehabilitation processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Avecina, your patient demographic will encompass a broad spectrum, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee of your respective state.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience is essential to ensure a well-rounded capability in treating patients.
• A valid CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety during treatment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
