Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation requirements.
• Manage an optimal patient caseload, ensuring that each session allows for thorough assessment and treatment of patients' needs.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care and draw from practical experience to propose effective treatment strategies.
• Implement cost-effective and evidence-based treatment options to enhance mobility and overall physical function.
• Develop and update individualized care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation process to instill a sense of commitment and progress.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive approach to patient care and recovery.
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to optimize results.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment provided, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as a Physical Therapist with Corehab, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our approach emphasizes restoring movement and improving physical function, allowing patients to return to their daily activities with confidence and resilience. Your role will be pivotal in educating patients about non-surgical methods and lifestyle modifications contributing to improved health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean record free of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and contemporary physical therapy practices.
• Proven ability to create and implement exercise programs tailored to specific patient needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, for ensuring precise and organized documentation.
• An ongoing commitment to staying current with advances in physical therapy and related healthcare practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.
