Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical health and functional abilities to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement diverse therapeutic interventions, utilizing your expertise to address a variety of conditions including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide hands-on clinical care to patients in our facility, incorporating techniques that align with physician recommendations, ultimately working to promote recovery and functionality.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about their conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for ongoing recovery.
• Actively engage in team meetings to collaborate on best practices that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment methods, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Meet established utilization goals and actively contribute to the overall business objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Avecina, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors. Your clientele will encompass individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on personalized care, and as such, you will have the unique opportunity to engage each patient through personalized assessments and therapeutic interventions designed to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least two (2) years of relevant clinical experience providing outpatient physical therapy services.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex therapeutic concepts with ease.
• Strong word-processing and computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• A commitment to establishing strong relationships with patients, fostering trust, and supporting their journey toward recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting focusing on a diverse range of patient needs, especially in outpatient care.
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to drive patient success and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to our attractive compensation package, we provide a multitude of benefits designed to support your personal and professional well-being.
