Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibility will be to provide psychotherapy services, focusing on the mental health of students across various age groups. Key tasks include:

• Conducting detailed clinical assessments to identify patients' needs and developing comprehensive treatment plans in alignment with best practices.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the individual student's requirements.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and case notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and our clinic's protocols.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including educational staff and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care and support students' educational experiences.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and team meetings to share insights and optimize care outcomes.
\n
• Providing education to students and their families about mental health strategies, treatment options, and available community resources.
\n
• Staying updated on the latest research and developments in mental health care to enhance clinical practices.

• Effectively managing a caseload to ensure timely progress towards treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards set by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with students who may be experiencing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related concerns. This role emphasizes the importance of developing strong therapeutic relationships with both the students and their families, allowing you to provide empathetic support that addresses emotional and psychological needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
