Accounts Receivable Specialist

A growing, nationally recognized business law firm headquartered in downtown Los Angeles has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Finance team. The role is focused on AR collections: managing aging reports, following up directly with the firm's business clients on outstanding invoices, applying and reconciling incoming payments, and preparing monthly status reports on collections activity. What you will be doing: Monitoring AR balances and maintaining accurate aging reports Following up with clients by phone and email on overdue invoices Processing and applying incoming payments with accuracy Reconciling the AR ledger and ensuring accurate records Preparing monthly reports on AR status and collections performance What they are looking for: 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable with active collections responsibility Strong professional communication skills for business-to-business client follow-up Detail-oriented approach to payment reconciliation and recordkeeping Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (not required) Prior experience in a professional services environment is a plus; law firm experience not required What is on offer: Salary $70,000--$85,000 depending on experience 401K and profit sharing Full benefits package This role is hybrid 3x/wk in their downtown Los Angeles office. #J-18808-Ljbffr Strategic Employment Partners
