Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will primarily engage with clients via virtual platforms, although there may be opportunities to work in our outpatient office as needed. The aim is to ensure flexible and accessible therapy services while creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. This position offers full-time hours, with the expectation of some evening shifts to better cater to client availability.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately gauge clients' mental health needs and craft individualized treatment plans, tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a range of methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other techniques, to address diverse mental health concerns.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary professionals to create a holistic care plan that aligns with each client’s treatment goals.

• Facilitate crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress, employing effective de-escalation techniques and empathy to stabilize acute situations.

• Participate in community outreach programs aimed at increasing mental health awareness, educating the public, and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• An active and independent license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage with clients of various ethnic and socioeconomic groups.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to treatment schedules.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in individual, group, and family therapy, particularly within a community mental health setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.

• Previous involvement in crisis intervention or emergency mental health services.
