Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate and identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, and areas for improvement.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions, including but not limited to individual, family, and group therapy, tailoring your interventions to meet diverse client backgrounds and needs.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to promote client engagement and empowerment.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that outline goals, strategies, and methods to monitor progress effectively.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to tailor treatment plans, coordinate care, and foster communication among all caregivers involved.

• Perform crisis intervention processes, including risk assessments and safety planning, to ensure the safety and well-being of clients during emergencies.

• Act as a strong advocate for clients, helping them access community resources, benefits, and additional support services needed for their recovery.

• Engage in community outreach and educational activities to enhance mental health awareness and advocate for individuals seeking support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to serve a diverse population within a hospice environment. You will work with clients facing terminal illnesses, grief, and loss, providing them with compassionate support and coping strategies. Your ability to connect and empathize with patients and their families will be crucial for enhancing their comfort and quality of life during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

Compensation and Benefits\n
