Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients' mental and emotional health, assessing their trauma history and psychological needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices and tailored coping strategies that empower patients to actively engage in their healing process.

• Provide ongoing counseling sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques to help patients navigate their emotions and challenges effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on stress and trauma coping mechanisms, equipping them with resourceful tools to manage their experiences.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical personnel and social service providers, to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Engage in professional development through continuing education opportunities to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed about the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on assisting patients who have experienced trauma and suffer from its psychological aftermath. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
