This position is classified as remote, providing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. The typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with possible adjustments to accommodate patient needs, including occasional evening shifts. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments of patients to identify their specific needs and objectives related to substance use treatment.

• Develop tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT).

• Direct group therapy sessions to foster peer support and create a shared environment for discussing recovery experiences and strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure each patient receives coordinated and integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in distress during substance use emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record systems.

The primary clientele served by the Navia Behavioral and Psychological Center consists of individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Proven knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care principles, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• At least two years of experience providing individual and group therapy specifically related to addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, inclusive of potential bonuses.
