Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexible working conditions while still fostering collaboration among team members through virtual platforms. Our community health clinic structure ensures that you will work alongside other experienced professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and addiction specialists, all dedicated to maintaining a supportive and effective care environment. Our work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s unique experiences, challenges, and goals related to substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring alignment with best practices in addiction recovery.

• Provide individual therapy sessions, employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate healing and skill development.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that allow clients to share experiences, build community support, and learn coping strategies from one another.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive coordinated, integrated care.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support when needed, addressing substance-related emergencies and guiding clients toward appropriate resources.

• Educate clients and their families about addiction, recovery processes, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines to safeguard client confidentiality.

• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest advancements in substance use treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with individuals facing substance use disorders, a population that often contends with significant societal stigma and personal challenges. Your compassionate approach will empower clients to share their stories and foster trust, enabling them to actively participate in their recovery journey. You and your team will tailor interventions based on cultural, social, and individual differences to ensure each client feels understood and supported.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy in addiction treatment settings.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, displaying empathy and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, particularly with clients managing substance use issues.

• Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding mental health treatment and substance use disorders.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n
