Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of new patients to understand their unique circumstances, goals, and mental health needs, using standardized assessment tools and interviews.

• Craft individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific situations.

• Provide individual counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing (MI) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to facilitate behavior change and recovery processes.

• Facilitate engaging and supportive group therapy sessions that help patients share experiences, build community, and learn recovery strategies from one another.

• Work in coordination with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care tailored to the complexities of substance use disorders.

• Deliver timely crisis intervention in situations of substance-related emergencies, ensuring the safety of patients while providing critical support.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction recovery paths, available community resources, and techniques for maintaining sobriety.

• Maintain clear and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring that clinical documentation supports treatment planning and care continuity.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD is required.

• Demonstrated ability to engage clients compassionately and effectively in therapeutic settings.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, necessary for facilitating therapy sessions and maintaining documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
