Full-Time Recreation Coordinator: $25/hour
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create and implement recreational activities and programs.
Ensure all documentation of resident care plans, recreation participation, and progress are documented in accordance with NYS guidelines.
Oversee coordination of transportation for residents to and from activities.
Conduct recreational programs on assigned units and throughout the facility as designated.
Qualifications:
Experience in long-term/short-term recreation programming.
Knowledge of MDS/Care Planning.
Knowledge of CMS/New York State regulations, including survey compliance.
Strong organization and multi-tasking skills.
A strong empathy with and commitment to helping the senior population.
Ability to work efficiently across various departments.
High level of creativity, artistic ability, and communication skills.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts as needed.
Experience in Music Therapy and/or proficiency in singing, piano, or guitar playing preferred.
