Key Responsibilities\n

• Leverage your education and clinical training to independently assess, diagnose, and develop tailored psychosocial strategies for students facing various mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with students, teachers, and families to create effective, patient-centered treatment plans that align with educational goals and personal aspirations.

• Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions such as motivational interviewing, solution-focused treatment, and problem-solving techniques, adapting these as required to meet diverse client needs.

• Maintain open lines of communication with other healthcare providers and school personnel to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of a student's health are addressed.

• Monitor treatment progress by systematically tracking outcomes and modifying approaches as necessary, conducting follow-ups through virtual consultations when needed.

• Support medication management efforts by assisting in adherence checks and managing conversations about treatment effectiveness and potential side effects.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing mental health difficulties that impact their educational performance and overall life satisfaction. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of practice, allowing for independent mental health practice.

• At least one year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist is essential for this position.
