Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience, and improving overall mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy that empowers patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care and support for all patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention and supportive services during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients who have experienced significant trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will support clients from various backgrounds, helping them navigate their healing journeys by creating tailored strategies that address their unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience within the field of mental health counseling is preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and effectively manage crises.
