Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while still being anchored in our outpatient facility. Our team operates within a structured Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to adapt to the needs of our patients. Our remote setup is designed to provide counselors with the resources needed for effective therapy while allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to accurately evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history, establishing a foundation for tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and administer individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques conducive to trauma recovery.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate engaging group sessions aimed at helping patients share experiences, build coping mechanisms, and promote healing.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure holistic treatment for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, with a focus on maintaining patient safety and emotional stability.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with the knowledge to navigate their recovery journey.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to uphold our commitment to best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Stay current on the latest research advancements and therapeutic methodologies in trauma therapy to continually enhance your professional skills.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Colorado.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices and trauma-related disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating compassion and a non-judgmental approach to all patient interactions.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications to document treatment efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on trauma recovery is preferred.

• Experience delivering specific trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and TF-CBT, is highly desirable.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
