Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with a strong focus on Accounts Payable to join their growing team in West Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced accounting environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity with room for growth. Key Responsibilities Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and electronic payments Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with vendor setup Reconcile vendor statements and ensure outstanding items are resolved promptly Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entry support Monitor Accounts Payable aging reports and help ensure timely payment of invoices Maintain organized accounting records and documentation for audit purposes Support the accounting team with additional clerical and administrative accounting functions as needed Qualifications Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk, or related accounting role Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred but not required Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
