Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized clinical services, including conducting assessments to establish treatment needs and developing personalized recovery-oriented treatment plans.

• Continuously evaluate client progress and needs, modifying treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal support.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of purposeful individual service plans, prioritizing goals that promote client autonomy and stability.

• Work closely with clients to develop and enhance coping, problem-solving, and communication skills through evidence-based techniques.

• Educate clients about community resources and advocate for their access to essential services, improving their integration into the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Summerfield, you will primarily work with adults dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other emotional or psychiatric conditions. Your ability to establish rapport and trust with clients will be critical in facilitating their journey toward recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• A valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to practice independently and exhibit no recent disciplinary actions related to licensure.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to establish effective therapeutic relationships.

• Proficiency with technology for remote counseling and documentation is preferred.
