TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Kansas City, Missouri, 64132!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience with cardiac drips, telemetry, and neurology. NIHSS certification and stroke experience are essential. Description: Guaranteed hours of 48 per week. The unit has a total of 16 beds with patient ratios of 4:1. Unit staffing includes techs available for assistance. Equipment used includes Welch Allyn VS Machines, Hoyer lifts, Sarah Steady Lifts, telemetry, bladder scanners, and Dopplers. Documentation is conducted using Meditech. Individual must be able to work 3 shifts per week, with 3-4 weekend shifts required. Agency and contract staff may be floated to other areas where competency has been demonstrated. Procedures performed on the unit are not specific. Advanced skills needed include cardiac drips and basic dysthymia. High employee engagement and support within the team. Units have established policies and guidelines tailored for specific needs.
