Evergreen Behavioral Health Care Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide vital support and services to students and their families in a remote school setting. This full-time role focuses on addressing and alleviating the challenges faced by students dealing with issues such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health concerns, and parental substance abuse. Work Environment

This position offers a remote work environment, allowing you to provide services flexibly from your home. You will collaborate with educational professionals, parents, and community organizations to ensure that students receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, promoting work-life balance while remaining fully engaged with your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients in order to gather detailed information about their circumstances, mental health status, and support needs.
• Engage with clients through telephonic and virtual consultations to deliver therapeutic support and crisis intervention as needed.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that target their specific challenges and goals.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health issues, resources available, and coping strategies to encourage active participation in their care.
• Refer clients to appropriate community services, agencies, and local resources for additional support, ensuring they have access to the full spectrum of care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and ongoing supervision, contributing to collective knowledge and team-based decision-making.
• Remain vigilant for signs of child abuse or neglect, taking appropriate action to report and support the safety of at-risk children.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students within the school system, ranging from elementary through high school age, who are dealing with a variety of social and emotional challenges. You will work closely with children from diverse backgrounds, each requiring specific approaches tailored to their unique situations. Understanding the dynamics of school systems and the influences of home life will be critical in providing effective intervention and support.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential is mandatory for this position.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology and platforms for remote service delivery, including video conferencing tools and electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills, demonstrated through the ability to effectively interact with clients, family members, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong assessment and crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed and empathetic during high-stress situations.
• Knowledge of intervention techniques specific to child and adolescent mental health issues is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience providing clinical support and counseling in school or community settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Evergreen Behavioral Health Care Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, reflecting your skills and experience in this vital role.
