Position Overview

Flexible Muscle Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our practice on a full-time basis. This role is crucial for helping our patients regain motion, enhance their mobility, and ultimately improve their quality of life. You'll work directly with individuals in their homes, providing personalized care tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Work Environment

As a member of our dynamic team, you'll primarily provide care in patients' homes, fostering a personal connection and understanding of their unique rehabilitation environment. Our full-time schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled healthcare professionals, blending efforts to create a well-rounded approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy sessions, addressing the specific goals and rehabilitation needs of each patient.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, ensuring that you devote sufficient time and attention to every patient.
• Draw on your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize cost-effective and research-supported treatment methods to enhance patients' motion and mobility, focusing on non-surgical interventions.
• Continuously assess treatment progress and adjust care plans based on real-time evaluations.
• Encourage and motivate patients, fostering trust and facilitating open communication throughout their therapy journey.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment provided, and outcomes using EMR software to maintain accurate records and facilitate future care.
• Promote wellness through specialized fitness and rehabilitation programs designed for patients' unique situations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest physical therapy techniques and research findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on home care patients with diverse needs, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and you will adapt your approaches to meet their unique challenges, ensuring personalized care that promotes recovery and enhances their lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license for the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong foundation in various manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional skill in creating effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Competence in utilizing EMR software, with familiarity in WebPT preferred.
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in modern physical therapy techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in home care settings or outpatient clinics, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based interventions that yield positive patient outcomes.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
