Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Passages, you will work primarily with the geriatric population, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and dementia-related challenges. Your role will directly impact the lives of elderly individuals, helping them to manage mental health conditions through personalized therapy and support. You will play a crucial role in fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship, enabling patients to express their concerns and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist in California.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to connect with elderly patients and create a safe therapeutic environment.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital communication tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
