Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, including their emotional and psychological needs, to develop effective treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to the patients’ unique backgrounds.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic goals as necessary, employing active listening and empathy to guide their healing journey.

• Provide referrals to additional mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, when medication or specialized treatment is warranted.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in stressful situations.

• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress in the electronic health record (EHR) system to support continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals with varying degrees of mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and psychotic disorders, as well as issues related to substance use. Our clinic values cultural competency, recognizing the importance of delivering care that respects clients’ backgrounds and personal experiences. Appointments may involve working with both adult and adolescent populations, and you will have the opportunity to tailor your approach to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of experience in the mental health field, preferably in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
