Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations, utilizing standardized tools to clarify clients' mental health needs. Develop tailored treatment plans based on these evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services through telehealth modalities, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling, using various approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and create comprehensive support systems for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute distress situations. Respond promptly to clients who may be in need of immediate assistance, ensuring they feel heard and supported.

• Engage in community outreach efforts and educational initiatives, facilitating workshops and seminars aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health therapist with TeamHealth, you will primarily focus on individuals from varied backgrounds, including teenagers, adults, and families navigating mental health challenges. Clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. Your culturally competent approach will be essential in building trust and rapport with a diverse patient population.

Qualifications\n

• A current, independent, and active license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster genuine connections with clients.

• A proven track record of cultural competence and the ability to effectively engage with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in community mental health settings and familiarity with teletherapy practices are highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits\n
