Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, evaluating the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms to establish an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Develop individualized treatment strategies that align with clients' goals and preferences, incorporating evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, promoting a family-inclusive approach to therapy. Monitor client progress meticulously, assessing treatment outcomes and adapting plans based on ongoing evaluations. Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care, emphasizing integrated treatment plans. Stay updated with advancements in mood disorder research to incorporate the latest findings into treatment strategies and methodologies. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client base includes individuals and families grappling with a range of mental health issues, particularly mood disorders. As an LMFT, you will play an essential role in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, guiding them towards healthier coping mechanisms and improved emotional resilience. Qualifications Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients. A demonstrated capacity for empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences, facilitating an open and supportive environment. Strong organizational and time management skills that enable effective caseload management and adherence to administrative duties. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a community health or outpatient clinic setting is preferred, ideally with a focus on mood disorders. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices and familiarity with treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT is advantageous. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance integrated care for clients. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
