Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Care Medical, you will work onsite in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot facility that is dedicated to sports medicine and outpatient rehabilitation. You will have the resources necessary to provide effective treatment in a modern clinical setting, including access to advanced rehabilitation technologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving movement and function.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions with a scheduled patient duration of 40 minutes, ensuring quality attention and care for each individual.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design cost-effective treatment protocols, ultimately reducing the need for medications and surgical interventions.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans accordingly to maximize outcomes.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care, ensuring a cohesive treatment strategy.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient care using our Athena Health EMR system, ensuring compliance and promoting continuity of care.
• Encourage patients to adhere to their individualized fitness and wellness programs, motivating them towards healthy lifestyle changes.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay updated on the latest treatment methodologies and physical therapy best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves patients covered by commercial insurance and private pay clients. You will work closely with a diverse patient population, including athletes focusing on strength and balance training, individuals recovering from surgery, and patients managing chronic pain conditions. Your goal will be to empower these individuals to reach their physical therapy goals and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Valid Virginia State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an outpatient setting, offering hands-on knowledge of treatment protocols.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to accommodate a range of patient personalities and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centric care and ongoing professional growth.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
