Sales Development / Inside Sales Rep - Austin TX

The Opportunity Location: Austin, Texas Office (this is an in-office position). The Inside Sales Team is the backbone of our sales operations. As the first point of contact for many sales leads, the team plays a critical role in understanding our customers' and prospects' needs and identifying how MLC CAD Systems can best partner with them to achieve their desired business outcomes. Through an intensive ramp-up program and ongoing professional development, MLC provides a clear opportunity for career growth for individuals who are driven to learn, perform, and advance. Key Outcomes
- Learn and stay current on MLC CAD Systems' products, services, including CAD & 3D Printings solutions SOLIDWORKS, Markforged, and Formlabs
- Establish and manage a sales pipeline through inbound and outbound lead qualification
- Prospect new accounts and engage our existing customer base through phone calls, email, online chat, and social media
- Schedule and conduct online discovery meetings and product demonstrations
- Collaborate with Marketing and local sales teams to plan and promote events and other lead-generation activities
- Accurately maintain and update customer, prospect, and sales activity information in the CRM
- Actively manage the sales pipeline and close transactional business with persistence, professionalism, and drive
- Bachelor's degree
- Goal-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
- Driven to learn, develop, and grow professionally
- High energy and a positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently, manage priorities, and follow through
- Strong attention to detail and established processes
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Competitive salary starting at $60,000–$70,000
